We started Initial Care because good home care shouldn't be hard to find.

Our story

Initial Care was founded to do one thing well: help people stay independent in their own homes, with carers who are properly trained, consistently scheduled, and genuinely there for the visit — not counting down the minutes to the next one.

We're starting with domiciliary care because it's where the need is most immediate, and where we can build the standards and relationships that everything else we do will be judged against. A care home is part of our plan for the future, once our home care service is established and trusted.

What we believe

• Consistency is care. Seeing the same carer matters as much as any task on the plan.
• Time isn't a metric, it's respect. Visits are long enough to do the job properly.
• Families are part of the plan. We keep you informed, not at arm's length.
• Standards come before scale. We'd rather grow slowly and well than quickly and thin.
