Every carer completes safeguarding training before their first visit and knows how to recognise and report concerns. We follow local authority safeguarding procedures and take every concern seriously, however small.
All staff undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, renewed periodically, before working unsupervised with clients.
Induction covers moving and handling, medication administration, first aid, infection control, and person-centred care — aligned with the Care Certificate framework used across the UK care sector.
Client records are held securely and in line with UK GDPR. Information is only shared with people directly involved in a client's care, or where we're legally required to.
